During the third quarter of 2018 compared to the same period for 2017, Aspen dollar sales went down slightly over 50% while Snowmass Village went up slightly over 50%. Basalt sales were virtually flat and Carbondale went up by about 16%. For the first three quarters of this year, Aspen sales were off by about one-third while Basalt was up by about one-third. During the same period, Snowmass Village and Carbondale were up 16%. Accordingly, all of the Roaring Fork Valley towns are showing strong sales except Aspen.
