The 2018 dollar volume of Roaring Fork Valley real estate went up considerably for every town in the valley versus 2017 except Aspen which went down substantially (27%). At the same time, when comparing 2018 to 2017, median prices have stayed somewhat level or gone up in the down- valley markets (Old Snowmass, Basalt, Missouri Heights, Carbondale, and Glenwood Springs) while up-valley (Aspen and Snowmass Village) median prices went down.
